During the meeting I was also given a notebook which contains a lot of the phone numbers to call to contact various City Services and other pieces of useful information.

Some of the information in the notebook includes:

  • City Ordinances
  • City Management Team and Government
  • Safety Services
  • Police Traffic Enforcement
  • Traffic Calming
  • Special Events
  • Leadership Dublin

If anyone has any questions about whom to contact for the City of Dublin please send me an email (tony at trippe dot com) and I will be happy to look things up in the notebook and offer assistance.

Just after the meeting the association leaders were sent the following email with updates from the meeting:

All COPEC communities (Dublin, UA, Bexley and Gahanna) have agreed to extend their business relationship with Interstate Gas Supply (IGS) as their natural gas supplier through 2009 (it was set to expire at the end of 2007). Because of this extension in service contract, IGS has been able to offer the aggregation group a reduced rate for our 2007 program because they know we will continue in their customer pool for a longer term. We previously announced the 2007 lock-in rate would be $1.214 per Ccf. The NEW 2007 price for aggregation customers will be $1.189 per Ccf. Letters from IGS will be sent to Dublin residents next week stating this new rate as the lock-in rate for 2007.
