Minutes from the January 11th, 2006 meeting

Held at Mary Kelley’s Restaurant

Present: Stu Ludlow, Holly McCloy, Dan Hackett, Mike Mangino, Lisa Mangino, Jim Harper

  • Keeping with the official title of “Sheffield Meadows Neighborhood Association.”
• Committee Reports
  • Treasurer
  • Provided Income/Expense report.
    • Street Captains to contact non-paid neighbors from 2005 and get Info. Sheet filled out.
  • Provided list of unpaid dues. Currently at 75% paid for 2005.
    • See Holly for list and copy of Info. Sheet.
  • Updated e-mail address for Holly is hollymccloy @ sbcglobal.net.
  • 2006 dues deadline will be 6/30/2006.
• Directory
  • The directory went out in December. Compliments to all involved.
  • Compile e-mails from the Directory to facilitate mass e-mails from the President
    • Stephanie Hackett to compile the list.
• Architectural Committee
• Beautification Committee
  • Would like to get bids from 3 different companies next year for mulching.
  • Bids for landscaping and other work still pending.
    • Brad Stoppenhagen and Dan Rowland will present estimates/proposals for masonry and landscaping work at the next meeting.
• Social Committee
  • Need Block Party Date.
• Newsletter
  • Include real estate report.
    • Dan Hackett to publish in February.
  • Promote website and advertising.
  • Detail of checking account.
    • Holly McCloy to get Stu checking acct. information.
  • President’s Letter.
    • Stu Ludlow to get Dan letter and all correspondences from committees.
  • All correspondence should go through Stu for Stu to review first. Stu will forward to Dan for Newsletter

• 2006 Committee Plans
  • EACH COMMITTEE HEAD IS TO SUBMIT 2006 GOALS, PLANS, AND BUDGET TO STU ASAP!!!
    • ALL COMMITTEES to get plans to Stu.
• Mail Boxes
  • Suggestion for bulk mail box purchase for those who want to replace old mailboxes in order to beautify neighborhood.
• Landscape Lighting
  • Would some like to light up their houses in order to light up the neighborhood?

• Date has not been set yet until committees submit 2006 plans to Stu.
